How Your 9th Grader Will Grow and Improve In Our Program

Our program provides a proven path for high schoolers to improve key skills, increase confidence, and develop the motivation to read more. Click on the building blocks below to explore all the ways your son or daughter will benefit from this engaging, effective program.

Strengthen Skills

Build Speed & Comprehension

In this program, your child will significantly increase reading speed. As a result, comprehension will soar, your child's focus will improve, and he or she will complete school assignments more quickly.

Improve Writing & Vocabulary

We'll help your high schooler become a more skilled writer with a richer vocabulary. Being able to effectively communicate ideas will set your child up for success in all subjects.

Tackle Textbooks & Nonfiction

In our program, your child will learn how to comprehend and retain information and ideas in challenging nonfiction. These strategies will make studying easier and unlock your son or daughter's full academic potential.

Build Confidence

Reduce Frustration

High school comes with lots of challenges. As your son or daughter masters key reading, writing, and study skills, frustration and apathy toward schoolwork will melt away.

Gain a Positive Attitude

In this program, your child will succeed with both fiction and nonfiction. With stronger reading and writing skills, he or she will approach each new assignment thinking, “I can do this!”

Boost Motivation

Great experiences with books engage a high schooler's mind and heart and instill the desire to read more. Under the guidance of an expert teacher, your child will explore the meaningful themes in great novels and get excited about reading.

Become a Reader

Increase Stamina

With the skills your high schooler develops in our program, he or she will be able to read with less effort and for longer periods of time in increasingly challenging books.

Develop a Love of Reading

Discovering a love of books opens the door to new worlds. The outstanding novels in our program have the power to inspire and transform your 9th grader.

Establish a Reading Habit

Regular reading has a big payoff for high schoolers: stronger comprehension, a richer vocabulary, and greater success in school. This program will make reading an important part of your child's life, now and in the future.
