Program Website
You will receive an email from your teacher with instructions about accessing the website the day before your program begins.
Your username is the email address you provided when you enrolled your child.
Your password is your Family ID number. You can find your Family ID number on any email we’ve sent to you, typically toward the bottom of the email.
Yes, we can reset any quiz for you. Just send us a message by clicking ‘Help’ at the top-right of the program website, or call us at 1-800-903-0651. Please tell us which quiz you’d like for us to reset.
Yes. At the top-left of the program website, click on the tab with your child’s name. You’ll see the names of other students enrolled in the program. Select the name you want and you’ll be redirected to the new homepage.
4th Grade through High School
Assignments are reviewed within 7 days of submission.
You can find the feedback in the ‘My Work’ portion of the program website. Please note that writing assignments won’t appear in the My Work folder until the teacher has provided feedback.

Yes, we will provide feedback even if the course is over.
Materials
We are not able to accommodate early or overnight shipments of books and materials. Beginning the first book will be part of your child’s first class. The teacher will take time to fully introduce the book at that time and there is no need to read ahead.
It is important for your child to participate in a program at the right level of difficulty in order to make progress and learn new skills. Please contact your child’s teacher to discuss switching into a different program level, or you can reach out to our Customer Service team. Chat with us, call us at 1-800-903-0651, or email customerservice@readingprograms.org.
You should expect to receive your materials 1-6 days prior to the start date of class. However, due to the impact of COVID-19 on the USPS and on our suppliers, we have experienced some shipping delays and tracking information is not always accurate. Some sets of materials may arrive after Lesson 1. For this reason we have provided links to downloadable versions of the materials in the emails we send out 1-5 days prior to the start of class.
Zoom Support for Online Classes
Your teacher will send an email with your first Zoom meeting link the day before Lesson 1. You’ll receive an email with the link to join the next class each week after that.
Yes, the link will actually be the same for each lesson. We send it to you in an email each week for convenience. Please note: the link will be different if you schedule a make-up class that is taught by another teacher. You’ll get the correct link for your make-up class in your weekly email.
Please check your junk, spam, and trash folders for emails from “Reading Programs.” If you still do not find emails from the Institute of Reading Development, we may have an incorrect email address in our files. Chat or email us at customerservice@readingprograms.org so that we can resolve the problem for you. Please have your Family ID number available.
Teacher Contact
Teachers typically respond to email within 1-2 business days. If you’ve waited longer than that for a response, please verify that the address you sent your email to is correct. Your teacher’s email address is in the welcome email we sent to you before class started. If the address is correct, please chat or email us at customerservice@readingprograms.org and we will assist you.
