Skills to Succeed
for Every Grade!
Since 1970 the Institute of Reading Development has been a national leader in reading instruction, dedicated to one thing: teaching students the skills they need to succeed in school and become lifelong readers. Throughout its fifty-year history, the Institute has taught over 3 million students in partnership with over 100 colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations across the country.
The Institute of Reading Development offers reading and writing programs that turn children of all ages into strong students who love reading.
Our programs are specifically designed to give students the skills, motivation, and individual support they need in the fall, winter, spring, and summer of each grade level.
Every child makes ongoing progress as a student and a reader – month to month and year to year, from kindergarten through high school.
