What exactly happens during the 60-minute session?

Your child will have a guided reading experience with an IRD expert teacher. They'll read passages at different levels, answer comprehension questions, and engage in conversation about their reading. The teacher observes skill and engagement throughout.

What age children can be evaluated?

We evaluate children ages 5-18. Whether your child is learning to read or reading at an advanced level, we have frameworks for every stage.

Is this just a sales pitch for tutoring?

No. The diagnostic stands alone. You'll receive a complete Roadmap that you can implement yourself. If you want ongoing support, tutoring is an option—but the diagnostic is valuable on its own.

What if I don't want to continue with tutoring?
